Reasoning Ability section consists of 35 questions. Important topics with their weightage for IBPS-PO Prelims are compiled in the following table:

II. Quantitative Aptitude

Suggested Order of Attempt

  • You should start this section with Simplification/Approximation, quadratic equations and then move on to Data Interpretation.
  • You can easily solve 7-8 questions on DI.
  • Then go through number series, out of 5 questions, 2-3 can be easily solved in no time.
  • In the end, solve miscellaneous questions on the topics you are good at.


III. English Language

Suggested Order of Attempt

  • Begin this section with Spotting errors, Cloze test, Fill-in-the-blanks etc., as they are usually easy and can be attempted in 8-10 minutes.
  • Then, you can go through Reading Comprehension, just have a look at easy questions ,don’t try to attempt all the questions. You can easily answer 5-6 questions.
  • In the end, attempt Parajumbles, only if you are good at it.
