Key points that must be kept in mind while preparing for the examination:

1. Set a fixed routine for study:

Divide the time for topics as per the difficulty level. Don’t study a single subject for too long. All the sections are equally important. So don’t neglect any section. Study reasoning for 2-3 hours and then take a break and after that spend 2-3 hours on maths. Study Maths in the morning when you are fresh and computers before going to bed. English can be studied when you are tired of studying Maths & Reasoning.

 

2. Analyze your strong & weak areas

Try to spend more time on your weak topics and prepare them well and sharpen your strong areas. After the Prelims, you must have a rough idea about where you were weak. You will only be able to judge your strong and weak areas better once you take a number of full-length IBPS-PO Prelims mock tests.

3. Time management plays a key role

Learn Effective shortcuts and tricks which assist you in solving questions at a faster pace. It must be kept in mind that it is essential to practice shortcut tricks on a regular basis otherwise you’ll get confused in the exam and will land up in selecting the wrong choice.

 

6. Give more and more sectional tests

Sectional tests help you analyze how well you have prepared for a single topic. Give more sectional tests on the topic you are weak at.

 

7. Practice full-length mock tests
