As per the new revised exam pattern of JEE Main 2021, each subject in the Paper 1 of B.Tech will possess two sections. Section-A will consist of 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) while Section-B will consist of 10 Numerical Questions. Although questions in Section A are compulsory, students will be provided with 10 questions in Section B and will have to attempt any 5 questions. Students can take advantage of this section to obtain high marks as there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Candidates can score up to 20 marks by attempting all the questions from Section-B which increases their chances of cracking the exam.
