FMGE December 2018: Syllabus and Marks Distribution

FMGE 2018 is scheduled to be held on 14 December across the country. After the release of the exam forms for FMGE Dec 2018, aspirants have started gearing up their preparation for the exam. We have brought forth this blog with a view to enlighten the aspirants regarding details such as exam overview, test centres, marks distribution and syllabus for FMGE December 2018 (screening test) that will assist them in preparing the preparation strategy.

Distribution of Marks:

There will be total 300 questions carrying one mark for each question and to pass the examination, candidates need to score 150 out of 300.

Syllabus :

The syllabus for FMGE screening test consists of subjects/knowledge areas in accordance with the Graduate Medical Education Regulations that are issued by MCI with prior approval of Government of India. Out of 300, 200 marks are allotted for clinical subjects while 100 marks are allotted for pre and para-clinical subjects. You can view and download the complete syllabus here.
