NMC Invites FMGE Eligibility Certificate Applications from September 1

If you have been preparing to appear for the FMGE December 2025 session, one of the most important steps that you can’t afford to miss is getting the Eligibility Certificate from the National Medical Commission. NMC has announced that the application for the eligibility certificate will open from September 1 and promises to remain LIVE until September 30, 6:00 PM on the NMC portal. 

It is mandatory to submit the certificate request on time for all the foreign medical graduates who wish to appear for the upcoming FMGE.

3. Upload documents as specified (ensure clarity and correctness—use the exact format/size requested).
4. Submit and note the tracking number that’s generated after submission. Keep it safe; you’ll need it for any correspondence.
5. Monitor status on the portal and by email as guided in the notice.

Tips to Avoid Delays

• You must double check names and dates. If you have inconsistencies across passport, degree, and transcripts, the verification process can slow you down. 
• Your document folder should always remain handy. Make sure that you scan copies clearly and label them in a way like passport_name.pdf, degree_year.pdf
• Never forget to track your application. You must use the tracking reference number in any email to NMC for faster support.

After Your EC is Approved

Even if your eligibility certificate is approved, that does not mean you are registered for the exam as well. It only allows you to proceed with FMGE application once NBEMS opens the FMGE December 2025 registration window and publishes its information bulletin. You must stay updated by watching NBEMS closely for the exact exam dates, application timelines, and admit card release.
