I have done my graduation from Bukovinian State Medical University. I have secured 212 marks in FMGE December 18 exam. What do you think is the correct approach to study for FMGE? Only MCQ's or Theory+MCQ's? Theory + MCQ When should the preparation ideally be started? Preparation should ideally be started at the beginning of the 4th year of medical study. You are not supposed to mug up all medical course in 6-month study and pass. You need to start reading and go slow but steady to your schedule. Please list the books you studied for each subject. If yes, what did you do different this year that lead to your success No How big is the role of practice and revision while preparing for FMGE and how much time should be dedicated for it? Revision and practice have a big role I preferred doing revision at night along with MCQs and reading at day time. Did PrepLadder play a part in your success? If yes, how? Yes, 40 tests offered by PrepLadder helped me know my preparation level and the small mistakes that I often made. So it was really very helpful. Did you use a time table/study plan to keep your preparation on track? Yes Were you a topper or a mediocre student during graduation? Easy – Pathology, Physiology, Pharmacology, PSM, Forensic, Psychiatry, Anesthesiology, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, ENT, Ophthalmology.
