Hello, please tell us something about yourself.
Myself Vineet Rajput. I have done my graduation from Bukovinian State Medical University. I have secured 212 marks in FMGE December 18 exam.
What do you think is the correct approach to study for FMGE? Only MCQ's or Theory+MCQ's?
Theory + MCQ
When should the preparation ideally be started?
Preparation should ideally be started at the beginning of the 4th year of medical study. You are not supposed to mug up all medical course in 6-month study and pass. You need to start reading and go slow but steady to your schedule.

How big is the role of practice and revision while preparing for FMGE and how much time should be dedicated for it?
Revision and practice have a big role I preferred doing revision at night along with MCQs and reading at day time.

Easy – Pathology, Physiology, Pharmacology, PSM, Forensic, Psychiatry, Anesthesiology, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, ENT, Ophthalmology.
Difficult – Medicine, Dermatology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Radiology, Pediatrics
One mistake that you believe everyone must avoid while preparing for FMGE
Stop finding and reading new materials Keep revising your notes and just have a look over if some new kind of questions comes up
Some last tips for our readers preparing for FMGE?
- Complete all subjects at least once
- Revise all imp subjects mainly nonclinical 4 to 5 times
- Do at least 3 to 4 papers before the exam to know your preparation
