Prepladder wishes heartiest congratulations to Dr. Sushant Nooji for clearing the FMGE. We wish him all the best for his career and future ahead. In this exclusive interview with PrepLadder, he shares his experience and plan that worked best for him to help score well in FMGE.
Hello, please tell us something about yourself.
My name is Dr Sushant Nooji, I completed my studies from National Pirogov Memorial Medical University, Vinnytsya. I scored 163 marks in FMGE.
What do you think is the correct approach to study for FMGE? Only MCQ's or Theory+MCQ's?
For me, theory as well all MCQ’s proved helpful. A candidate must have good theoretical knowledge and subsequently solve MCQ’s to analyze his efficiency and efficacy.
How big is the role of practice and revision while preparing for FMGE and how much time should be dedicated for it?
Practicing MCQ’s and revision of the theory on regular basis both are equally important. Every day, at least 6 hrs must be devoted for revision apart from solving MCQ’s.Did PrepLadder played a part in your success? If yes, how?PrepLadder played a very important role; it’s like a booster for FMGE. I was able to get my concepts clear, was able to filter the important portion from the syllabus by regularly solving the MCQ’s. Solving preladder MCQ’s is like solving the actual FMGE questions.
Did you use a time table/study plan to keep your preparation on track?
Yes, I did plan my studies, after completion of my theory portion of a particular subject; my next move was to solve its respective MCQ’s on PrepLadder.
Were you a topper or a mediocre student during graduation?
It’s a difficult question for me as I cannot judge my ability.
