In this exclusive interview with PrepLadder, he shares his plan that worked best for him to help score well in FMGE. Hello, please tell us something about yourself. Hi, I am Dr. Pruthviraj Bhonsle graduated from Bukovinian State Medical University. I scored 228 marks in FMGE December 2019. What do you think is the correct approach to study for FMGE? Only MCQ's or Theory+MCQ's? In my opinion, the correct approach is to complete the theory first with atleast 2-3 revisions and then attempt the MCQs. When should the preparation ideally be started? Well, the preparation certainly depends on you. It starts from the moment when you decide to clear this exam in the very first attempt itself. I took this resolution in my 5th year. Please list the books you studied for each subject. Review books of all subjects. Have you attempted FMGE previously? If yes, what did you do different this year that lead to your success No, this was my first attempt. How big is the role of practice and revision while preparing for FMGE and how much time should be dedicated for it? Each and every subject needs to be revised atleast 7-8 times before attempting FMGE. Did PrepLadder play a part in your success? If yes, how? Yes, I was completely dependent on PrepLadder. No coaching classes taken. It turned out to be a good decision. List the most difficult and easiest subjects for you. Most difficult-Orthopedics Most Easy- Microbiology One mistake that you believe everyone must avoid while preparing for FMGE Don't go in deep. Keep your basics clear from the very beginning. Some last tips for our readers preparing for FMGE? Stick to your notes. Follow them blindly at the last moment of preparation and don't add anything extra to it.
