DNB- CET 2020:  Schedule for Online Centralized Merit Based Counseling 

After the declaration of the first round of counseling results for DNB-CET, the National Board of Education has announced the schedule for 2nd and 3rd round of online centralized merit-based counseling. With a view of keep you updated with the counseling schedule, we have brought forward this blog.

Important Dates for DNB CET Counseling 2020

The Centralized Online merit Based Counseling for admission to DNB (Post MBBS) shall be conducted by NBE as per the schedule is given below:

Second Round of Counseling
Adding/ Editing/ Re-ordering of filled options/ choices for the second round of counseling	15th to 19th June 2020 (Up to 5 pm)
Processing of Second round allotment	20th to 21st June 2020
Result of Second Round Allotment	By 22nd June 2020
Payment of First Year Course Fee	22nd to 25th June 2020
E-joining	22nd to 28th June 2020
Physical joining at allotted Institute	22nd June to 3rd July 2020

Third Round of Counseling
Adding/ Editing/ Re-ordering of filled options/ choices for the second round of counseling	8th to 12th July 2020 Up to 5pm)
Processing of Second round allotment	13th to 14th July 2020
Result of Second Round Allotment	By 15th July 2020
Payment of First-Year Course Fee	15th to 18th July 2020
E-joining	15th to 20th July 2020
Physical joining at allotted Institute	15th to 21st July 2020

Mop-up Round
Mop-up round (depends upon the no. of vacant seats after 3rd round of counseling)	27th to 29th July 2020
Physical joining at Medical Institute	27th to 31st July 2020

Important points mentioned in the Notification

Don't miss to read out the important details which are a part of the official notification: i) The allotment of seats in the counseling will be subject to the verification of the documents at the time of joining the allotted institute. ii) To confirm and FREEZE the allotment of seat, you are required to deposit a One-year non-refundable course fee of ₹ 1,25,000/- ( excluding payment gateway charges). iii) If you have opted for freezing of the seat allotted to you in the second or third round of counseling, you will not be allowed to participate in any subsequent round of counseling. iv) The seats vacant after the completion of the first and second rounds of counseling due to Nonjoining/ resignation by the candidates shall be included in the third round of counseling. v) Candidates who have registered for the counseling and have not been allotted any DNB seat also will automatically move to the next round of counseling.
