National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam (NEET) PG is a National-level exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) which will serve as the gateway for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses in Government and Private Medical Institutions across the country.
NEET PG Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must possess MBBS Degree/Provisional Pass Certificate recognized according to the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Applicants must have secured Permanent/Provisional Registration with the Medical Council of India.
Applicant must have finished one year Internship/likely to complete one year Internship on or prior to 31st March 2017
Applicants who have secured their MBBS degree from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana are not eligible for All India 50% Pool.
Conducting Authority for NEET PG
National Board of Examinations (NBE) is the prescribed authority for conducting NEET PG for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses as per the provisions of the Section 10 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 as amended in 2016.

State Quota Seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma Programs – This applies to All States and UTs including Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana
MD/MS/PG Diploma Seats falling under Private Medical Colleges, Deemed Institutions all across the nation
MD/MS/PG Diploma seats falling under Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions
DNB Broad Specialty Seats for January 2017 Admission session also fall under the ambit of NEET PG

Registration for NEET PG
The registration procedure for NEET PG is completely online.
The registration procedure comprises 4 steps:
Creating a Profile: Applicants will first have to create a profile by visiting the official website. Here, applicant will have to fill in their personal details and create a login by using username and password.
Apply/Register: Applicant will have to fill the registration form by submitting various details.
Schedule the Exam:Applicant will have to select the location and Testing Venue. He/She will also be required to select the Exam Date and Exam session.
Make Online Payment: Applicant will have to submit the application fee through the Online Mode only using Credit/Debit Card options or Net Banking.

NEET PG 2017: Admit Card
After submission of Online Payment and successful completion of Online Registration, applicant will receive the Admit Card on the registered E-mail Id within 24 hours.
Applicant will be required to take a Print out/Hard Copy of the Admit Card.
Counseling for NEET PG
Medical Counseling Committee established by the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare will be the authority responsible to conduct Counseling for All India 50% Quota Seats.
For State Quota Seats, the concerned Department of Medical Education/University as specified by the particular State Government will be responsible for conduct of Counseling.
Test Centers for NEET PG
NEET PG 2017 will be organized in 86 Test Centers across 41 cities.
