As everyone must be aware, registrations for NEET-PG 2017 Counseling has already commenced.
Candidates have been inquiring us as to provide some guidance with regard to registration procedure for NEET-PG 2017 Counseling.
With a view to putting the aspirants’ queries to rest, we have brought forward this blog that will familiarize with the Registration Procedure for NEET-PG 2017 Counseling.
The steps involved in NEET PG 2017 Registration Process are:
The first step is to visit the official website of MCC (mcc.nic.in) and select the option of ‘PG Medical Counseling’.
Candidates will be directed to the next page where they will be required to select the option ‘New Registration’.
Candidates will be then directed to the ‘New User Registration’ page where a candidate will be required to enter their ‘Personal Details’.
Here, a candidate will be also required to enter the ‘Application/Confirmation No.’ which is printed on the Admit Card of NEET-PG 2017.
After submitting the details, candidates will be directed to another page where the candidate will be required to enter his/her personal information as well as ‘Create Password’ for the account. After submitting the information, a display will appear wherein candidate can preview all the entered information and then has to click on ‘Confirm Registration’ option.
A Registration Slip will be generated at the end of the process whose print out can be taken and kept for record purpose.
Candidates will be then required to login to their account using their Testing ID and password.
In order to retrieve the forgotten password, a candidate will be required to ‘Testing ID’, ‘DOB’, ‘Security Question & Answer’ which he/she entered during the ‘New User Registration’.
The system will validate the entered data and if found correct will allow the candidate to proceed further towards ‘Setting a New Password’.
Candidate will be required to approach the nearby ‘Help Centre’ for Initialization of Registration in case the candidate fails to retrieve the password.
After successfully logging into the account and accessing the link ‘Available Choices’, credentials of the candidate will be displayed and the available choices specific to the candidate on the basis of his/her credentials will be displayed.
Candidate will be required to select the ‘Choice Filling’ option and a display will be available wherein candidate will be required to select a ‘State’ and an ‘Institute’.
The system will then display the Specialities/Disciplines available in that Institute along with the number of seats in each Discipline in the left side basket.
Candidate will be required to click on the button for the desired choice and the selected choices will move onto the Right Side Basket.
Candidates can also set the ‘Preference Order’ by using the ‘Move Up’ and ‘Move Down’ button.
Candidate can also ‘Delete’ a selected choice by clicking the ‘Delete’ button.
During the ‘Choice Submission’ process, a candidate will be required to save the exercised choices by clicking the ‘Save and Continue’ and ‘Save and Go to Home’ button.
Candidate will be required to click on the ‘Choice Lock’ button upon which the ‘Selected Choices’ will be locked.
Facility of Choice Locking will be available as per notified dates.
In the case of candidates’ failure to lock the choices, choices will be automatically locked at 5:00 PM of the last date of locking.
Candidates will be required to click on the ‘Log Out’ option after the process is over.
