SCOPE OF NEET PG 2018
NEET- PG 2018 will be the single window, eligibility-cum-entrance examination for the admission to PG courses for academic session 2018. It includes the following seats:
- All India 50% quota seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses - All States with exception of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana
- State Quota Seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses - All States & UTs of India with inclusion of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Telangana
- MD/MS/PG Diploma courses – For admission to All Private Dental Colleges, Universities & Institutions across India
- Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions – For seats available to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses
- DNB Broad specialty courses: For January 2018 Admission Session
Note: Following Medical Institutions are not covered by centralized admissions through NEET-PG 2018 for PG seats:
- AIIMS, New Delhi
- PGIMER, Chandigarh
- JIPMER, Puducherry
- NIMHANS, Bengaluru
- Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To appear for NEET PG 2018, a candidate must fulfill the following eligibility criteria as per the Indian Medical Council Act 1956:
- Candidate must possess a degree of MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate from a recognized university or institute in India and has completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the internship on or before March 31, 2018
- Candidate must possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the MCI or State Medical Council
- Candidates who have passed/qualified MBBS from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for 50% All India Quota seats. However, the candidates nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to do MBBS from Medical Colleges in Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana are eligible for All India 50% quota seats. (PG seats of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are likely to be included in 50% All India Quota Seats 2018 subject to confirmation by the respective State Governments to MoHFW, Govt. of India)
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION
NEET PG 2018 will be conducted on a single day and in a single session only.
The session of examination will commence at 7:30 AM so that candidates can begin biometric registration and the exam will start at 9:30 PM. The exam will end at 1:00 PM.
