The government on Tuesday decided to reduce the cut-off percentile for PG Medical seats by 6 percent after receiving complaints from a large number of medical colleges that thousands of seats are still vacant due to high qualifying percentile. In accordance with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW), Govt of India letter F.No.V.110125/5/2009-ME (P-I) dated 7th May 2019, the minimum qualifying percentile has been lowered as follows:
