This significant decision has been announced to boost the availability of medical personnel on COVID duty. A decision was taken to postpone NEET-PG for at least 4 months and the exam will not be held before 31st August 2021. Students will also be given at least one month of time after the announcement of the exam before it is conducted," read the government's release.

Major Decisions taken by the government regarding NEET PG Exam

  • Medical Interns would be deployed for COVID management duties under the active supervision of their faculty.
  • Final Year MBBS students can be utilized for teleconsultation and monitoring of mild Covid cases under the supervision of the Faculty.
