PGI MD/MS July 2020: Counselling Schedule Released

The result of PGIMER MD/MS July 2020 session exam was released on 22^nd June 2020. All the candidates who cleared the exam and are aspiring to seek admission to PGIMER, Chandigarh must pay attention. Schedule for counselling (allotment process) for MD/MS seats has been declared. We are here to familiarize you with the Counselling & Seat allotment schedule for PGI July 2020 session.

1^st Round (Online Counselling)

Processing of seat allotment	26^th June 2020
Result/ Seat allotment	27^th June 2020 (10 am)
Payment of fees and downloading allotment letter	29^th June – 1^st July (by 9 am)
Reporting & Joining at PGIMER, Chandigarh	1^st July 2020 at 9 am at Bhargava Auditorium, PGIMER, Chandigarh

2^nd Round (Online Counselling)

3^rd Round (Online Counselling)

3^rd round of counselling will be held offline at Bhargava Auditorium, PGIMER, Chandigarh on 24^th July 2020 at 12 noon. *Seat matrix for 3^rd round of counselling will be uploaded on PGIMER website on 21^st July 2020 at 11 am

Spot Counselling (Offline at PGIMER, Chandigarh)

Spot counselling will be held offline at Bhargava Auditorium, PGIMER, Chandigarh on 31^st July 2020 at 12 noon. *Seat matrix for spot counselling will be uploaded on PGIMER website on 29^th July 2020 at 11 am. Also Check: AIIMS Counselling Schedule

Important details covered in the notification:

i) The counselling rounds will be held through the following modes:

First Round	Online
Second Round	Online
Subsequent rounds of counseling	Offline/ Physical

ii) In the first counselling, approximately 5 times candidates against the vacant seats will have to exercise their choice of preference of specialization. To check the list displayed on the website- Click Here iii) For second counseling all the candidates who secured 55/50/45 percentile or above in their respective category will be eligible for exercising their choices of preference of specialization against the vacant seats. iv) 3^rd and Spot counselling will be physical counselling and be held at Bhargava Auditorium, PGIMER Chandigarh. v) If a candidate joined any course then he/ she will be eligible for upgradation in all rounds of counselling, but on joining upgraded choice the fee deposited by him/ her shall be forfeited. vi) If any candidate joined any course and leave the course after all rounds of counselling/ midway of training shall be levied penalty given in the prospectus.
