AIIMS DM/MCh January 2018 session: Result Declared

For candidates awaiting the admission to AIIMS DM/MCh courses for January 2018 session, final result for the same has been announced which includes the list of candidates who have been selected in different departments of AIIMS.
The final result has been declared in accordance with the CBT-Online (i.e. Stage-I) entrance examination which was conducted on 5th November, 2017 and the department-wise Clinical/Practical/Lab based Assessment (i.e. Stage-II) which was conducted on 20th to 23rd November, 2017.

Important Information
- The admission of selected candidates depend upon the fulfillment of all eligibility criteria including 3 years requisite tenure and qualifying degree by 31st January 2018, along with verification of original certificates/degrees and satisfying all conditions as mentioned in the Prospectus. (Candidates not completing the requisite tenure within the last date i.e. 31st January, 2018, will be considered ineligible for admission)
- The waiting list in each superspeciality has been prepared on the basis of 50% of the number of seats available in the respective category, depending upon the availability of qualifying candidates in the category.
- The waiting list will be utilized by AIIMS Bhubaneswar and Rishikesh for vacant/unfilled seat in DM-Cardiology, DM-Clinical Hematology, DM-Neonatology, DM-Neuro-Anaesthesiology & Critical Care, DM-Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine, MCh-Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, MCh-Neuro Surgery, MCh-Pediatric Surgery, MCh-Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, MCh-Trauma Surgery and Critical Care and MCh-Urology in consultation with AIIMS, New Delhi subject to candidate having filled the option for the respective AIIMS.
- Method of resolving ties: In case of the tie, it will be resolved according to age (Date of Birth). Thus, the older candidate will be given preference over the younger one.
- Note: As per the Prospectus, selected candidates are required to join on January 1, 2018 or before January 15, 2018 i.e. the last date of joining of selected candidates. Also, the last date for admission to the DM/MCh entrance examination will be February 28, 2018, and will not be extended in any circumstances.
