The NEET-UG question paper comprises 200 questions, out of which 50 questions each for Chemistry and Physics and the rest for Biology. Biology is further divided into Zoology (50 questions) and Botany (50 questions). 

  • There will be 2 sections as per the new exam pattern: section A has 35 questions, while section B has 15 questions.
  • Each correct question carries 4 marks, the incorrect question will give a -1 mark, and the unattended questions will carry 0 mark.
  • It is a pen & paper-based exam answered on the OMR sheet using Ball Point Pen.
  • The entire time duration of the NEET-UG exam is 3 hours (180 minutes).
