While you are cooped up in your study room for FMG exam preparations, NBEMS announced the postponement of the exam. Yes, that’s correct! The FMG exam, which was scheduled to be conducted on December 4, is now rescheduled for January 20 2023.

The NBEMS (National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences) has postponed the FMGE 2022 examination, which was earlier scheduled for December 4 2022. The exam will now be conducted on January 20, 2023.
The postponement of the exam has been attributed to the elections of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), which are also scheduled to be held on December 4, 2022. After the announcement of the MCD elections by the Delhi state election commission, the NBE decided to reschedule the FMG examination.
In the wake of the exam postponement, NBE has also extended the last date to submit rectification. Candidates now have until December 30 2022, to submit deficient documents such as the identity proof of citizenship, proof of primary medical qualification, attestation of primary medical qualification certificate by the Indian Embassy concerned/apostille, eligibility certificate, etc.
Documents have to be submitted online through the Deficient Document Submission Portal. Candidates who fail to submit the documents on time will be declared ineligible.
