The last 30 days on the calendar before the FMGE is not the moment to open all the books and study every single topic again. It is the moment to study in a very strategic way.
Your study should get sharper, faster, and more oriented towards the exam. The majority of the students made the mistake of trying to catch up with too many new topics last month. However, students who score well usually have one thing in common: a thorough revision with a strategy step.
Even the next 30 days can bring substantial changes to your FMGE score, provided you revise in an organized, regular, and clear manner.

Stop Reading Everything. Start Revising What Matters
Revising each and every subject with the same dedication during the last month is one of the biggest mistakes that FMGE aspirants make. Trying to do everything this way ends up with fatigue that does not even help retention.
The approach is smarter if it is focused on high-yield topics, previous year trends, volatile subjects, and concepts repeated. Days 16–24: Active Recall and MCQs
Active recall is the method you should be using in the second phase. Passive reading only creates a sense of familiarity, but if you use active recall, memory actually gets strengthened.
Besides rereading, you need to be consistently testing yourself. Try to solve MCQs daily, if possible, after a revision, take a break, and attempt to recall the concept you have just studied. Check the notes again. Active recall happens only if you try to retrieve the information from the brain without any support.
Besides, this is the perfect phase to attempt grand tests. By taking grand tests, you find out your weak points, improve your time management, get used to the exam environment, pinpoint your errors, and increase speed in solving under pressure.

Your error notebook is one of the most important revision tools during the final month. Each and every mistake that you made through preparation can be seen as a weak area that will benefit from reinforcement
Typically, a student keeps revising the things that they are familiar with. But the real improvement in scores is usually due to the ideas of correcting repeated errors.
