The second session of the Day 1 exam i.e. June 15th 2017 DNB CET exam is over. More than 500+ real students were approached by Prepladder who took the exam so that we can update you about the standard in the second session of first of day of the exam.
The compilation of this analysis has been done depending on the genuine polling from the candidates who appeared on the Day 1, Session 2 of June 15th DNB CET exam. Prepladder conducted this polling to help candidates those who have their exam in upcoming days in order to get an idea about what to focus on.
Overall Difficulty Level – Moderate:
As per the results of the poll, the Session 2 of June 15, 2017 was of moderate level. Many candidates said that many questions were repeated from previous years. They also shared that exam was not lengthy rather if one has decent skills of time management, then one can go through all the questions comfortably.
Deciders/High Weightage Subjects:
Decider or the Subject that could bring a worthwhile difference to your overall ranking was PSM. After PSM, most asked questions were from Anatomy, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Surgery.
Low Weightage Subjects:
Subjects that carried considerably low weightage in the second shift were Pediatrics and Anesthesia.
Pattern of Questions:
‘One-liners’ dominated the evening session exam once again. Clinical questions were not seen in this session. Rather, most crucial subjects from where the majority of questions appeared were pre-clinicals. Repeated questions were also seen. Some questions were direct whereas some were asked in a twisted manner.
Image-Based Questions – Substantial Weight Age:
Approximately 20 questions asked in the exam were Image-Based. The level of such questions was moderate.
Distribution of Questions:
This exam constitutes of 300 questions in total.
As per the reviews of candidates, questions have been classified into different categories depending on the level of difficulty and are enclosed in the table below:

Direct Questions from PrepLadder’s Mock Test Series
An important highlight was that direct questions from the test series of PrepLadder were seen in the Evening session of June 15th DNB CET, 2017.

June 15th, Day 1 Session 2: Conclusion
As per the reviews of candidates, the overall level of exam was moderate. Many questions were based on facts and straight forward. Moreover, previous years questions also appeared in the exam.
Thus, we suggest the candidates who are going appear in the upcoming days to prepare the basics thoroughly.
Further, go through the previously asked questions once. As short subjects carried 25% of overall weightage, they cannot be ignored as they can really help you achieve your goal i.e. clear DNB CET 2017.
Depending on the feedback, it is recommended to revise whatever you have prepared till date. Revision will surely help you to clear DNB CET.
