Day 3, Morning session of DNB CET exam was conducted on June 17th 2017.
As many as 500+ real students who took this exam were approached by PrepLadder in order update you about the standard in the first session of third day of exam.
The analysis of this session has been obtained based on the genuine polling from the candidates who appeared on the Day 3, Session 1 of June 17th DNB CET exam. This blog will give you an idea about type of questions asked in this exam.
Overall Difficulty Level – Moderate:
As per the poll results, the Session 1 of June 17, 2017 included moderate level questions. Many candidates shared that many questions appeared from previous years. Exam was not lengthy and one could easily go through all the questions at least once.
Deciders/High Weightage Subjects:
Decider or the Subject that could bring a rewarding difference to your overall ranking was Biochemistry. Followed by Biochemistry, many questions were seen from Obs & Gynae and Anatomy.
Low Weightage Subjects:
Orthopedics carried considerably low weightage in the Morning shift that was followed by Pediatrics and Anesthesia.
Pattern of Questions:
Again, ‘One-liners’ dominated the Morning session of Day 3 exam.
Surprisingly, some clinical questions also appeared this time.
As per the reviews, most of the questions were factual, memory based.
Repeated questions were also seen; some were direct while some were asked in an indirect manner. Options of many questions were confusing.
Almost every topic was covered in the exam and depending on the results of poll about 2-3 questions were asked from maximum of topics.
This session comprised of about 10 Image-Based MCQs. 3-4 image based questions were on instruments and 3-4 CT scans and MRI questions appeared this time. Moreover, some radiological images were also repeated.
Distribution of Questions:
There are of 300 questions in total in DNB CET exam.
Depending on the level of difficulty, classification of questions has been done in the following categories:

NOTE: As per the genuine reviews of candidates, about 30% of questions in the exam were from short subjects. This is the highest weightage as compared to previous sessions.
Direct Questions from PrepLadder’s Mock Test Series

June 17th, Day 3 Session 1: Conclusion
Based on the reviews of candidates, the overall level of exam was of moderate difficulty. Many questions were factual and memory based. Moreover, repeated questions were also seen in the exam.
This session involved about 30% of MCQs from short. Candidates those who had revised and practised properly, would have surely done good in this exam.
