I. Scheme of NEET PG 2017

NEET PG will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test and will comprise 300 Multiple-Choice Questions from the MBBS Curriculum prescribed at Medical Institutions across the country.

All India 50% quota seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses (All States with Exemption of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Telangana)
State Quota Seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses - All States & UTs (Including States such as Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Jammu & Kashmir)
MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses at all Private Medical Colleges, Institutions & Deemed Universities across the country
Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions - MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses
DNB Broad Speciality Courses (January 2017 Admission Session)

III. Institutions Exempted from NEET PG

The following Institutions will conduct their own entrance examinations and NEET PG will not be binding on them:

V. Counseling procedure for MD/MS/PG Diploma Seats

The Counseling for 50% All India Quota Seats will be conducted by Medical Counseling Committee set up by Health & Family Welfare Ministry, Government of India (www.mcc.nic.in)

For State Government Seats, counseling will be conducted by the Concerned Department of Medical Education/University notified by respective State Government.
