The information pertaining to the seats has been compiled as per the data available on the official website of Medical Council of India (MCI).
The complete information is summarized as follows:
(Government+Private) (Including AIIMS, PGI, JIPMER, NIMHANS)
(Including AIIMS, PGI, JIPMER, NIMHANS)
(AIIMS- 380, PGI- 196, JIPMER- 106, NIMHANS- 54)
Jammu and Kashmir: 408 (390 govt)
Note: Telangana and Andra Pradesh were earlier excluded from the national pool.
However, these states are likely to contribute to the pool starting January 2018 admission session.
J&K is likely to stay out.
