INI SS or Institute of National Importance Super Speciality has recently announced the exam date for admission to DM, M.Ch., MD hospital administration courses. The INI SS exam is organised twice every year by AIIMS New Delhi at national level.
Those who appear and qualify the exam are eligible to gain admission at various reputed institutions – AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER, NIMHANS, and Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, etc.
The registrations for the January 2023 session began on 29th September. Candidates who are interested in applying for the exam must apply online before 17th October 2022 on iniss.aiimsexams.ac.in.

All information as well as access to processes related to INI-SS will be done through its online portal. The portal for INI-SS can be accessed from www.aiimsexams.ac.in >>Academic Course Tab >>and clicking on INI-SS. The applicants are requested to visit the site frequently to keep themselves updated with the latest information. The access and different components of the application process will be enabled/disabled as per the dates specified in the Important Dates Tab.
The INI-SS Exam will be conducted in two stages through online CBT mode in english. The stage 1 exam duration will be 90 minutes. Candidates will be asked to answer 80 multiple choice questions. Each correct answer will score 1 mark and incorrect answer will get minus one third. Unanswered questions will not score any marks.
As for the syllabus, you can expect questions from the general/basic component of the qualifying educational qualification and from sub-speciality/system.components the speciality course for which the examination is being conducted.
The stage 2 exam is applicable to all AIIMS only and carries a total of 20 marks.
The qualifying criteria in stage 1 is 50%.
And, to qualify for AIIMS Seat allocation a candidate must obtain 50 percent (%) or more marks in Stage-I & Stage-II combined.
After the examination, two different merit lists of qualified candidates will be declared based on performance in Stage – I & Stage – II examination - a common merit list and an AIIMS merit list.
