FMGE July 2025 Result Date (26th August)

The FMGE July 2025 exam was conducted on 26th July 2025, and as per the official timeline, the result is expected to be released on 26th August 2025. With just a few weeks to go, candidates are anxiously awaiting their results to see if they’ve cleared the 150-mark qualifying threshold and taken a step closer to securing medical practice eligibility in India.

FMGE, or Foreign Medical Graduate Examination is a national-level licensing examination conducted annually by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).

Through this examination, any Indian citizen or OCI who has studied abroad but wishes to practice medicine in India can register with the NMC (National Medical Council) or SMC (State Medical Council). 

NBE conducts this licensing examination twice yearly to offer provisional or permanent registration with the NMC/SMC. This year the exam was recently conducted on 12th January, 2025. The result of the FMGE January '25 examination has been declared today, on 19th January on the NBEMS website.

To qualify, candidates must score the minimum mark of 150 out of 300. Qualifying candidates who score the minimum cut-off marks will be issued a pass certificate that will enable them to practice medicine in India.

The candidates who have qualified for the exam can also download their individual scorecard from nbe.edu.in after logging in on the website with the provided ID and password.

How to download FMGE Jan' 25 Exam Result?

The FMGE 2024 exam result has been declared online in PDF format. To check and download the result, you can follow the instructions mentioned below- 

• Visit the NBE official website here.
• Under the screening tab on the home page, you will find a button for FMGE. Click on that, and you’ll be taken to the FMGE page.
• Navigate to the page's right-hand side and find the result button. Click on that.
• You can check the FMGE exam result 2025.

NOTE: The FMGE 2025 result will contain your roll number, marks out of 300, and qualifying status.

In order to qualify the FMGE exam, candidates must obtain at least 150 marks out of 300. Those who secure the minimum qualifying marks will be eligible for provisional or permanent registration from the National or State Medical Council.

FMGE Jan Session 2025 -  Scorecard 

The scorecard of the FMGE 2025 January session can be downloaded from the official website after availability. You can also go through the direct link, which will be updated here post-release. Follow the steps mentioned below to download the FMGE scorecard-

• Click on the FMGE 2025 scorecard link.
• Enter the user ID and password that you received while filling out the FMGE application form
• Scorecard will appear with details including your score, number of correct/incorrect responses, and other details of the FMG exam results.

The National Board of Education in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) recently announced the results of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) 2025 on January 19th. This year, out of 44,390 students who appeared for the FMGE conducted on Jan 12th, 2024, only 13,149 candidates successfully passed the examination. This makes the FMGE result 2025 pass percentage to be 29.62%, highlighting the competitive nature of the exam and the rigorous standards set for foreign medical graduates seeking to practice medicine in India.

The highest score achieved in the FMGE Jan 2025 session was an impressive 257 out of 300. However, a significant number of candidates, specifically 31,326, did not meet the minimum passing criteria, reflecting the challenges faced by many in obtaining the required 150 marks out of 300.
