Shorter subjects like Radiology, Dermatology and Anesthesia can be prepared from notes or guides. More time should be devoted to heavier subjects like Pharmacology, Pathology and Medicine.
What about the book Harrisons Internal Medicine? How should this book be studied?
This is a commonly asked question by the medical aspirants. Teachers and Toppers advice not to overdo this book. It’s a deal to study such a big book as it is and if you are unable to study it completely, it may highly dampen your spirits. Study the parts which are important. Select the most repeated topics from the previous year papers of AIPGMEE. You can read those from
Harrisons book. The book is indeed very educating and knowledgeable, which you will realize once you will read it. But it’s definitely not a standard book for PGMEE preparation.
