I'm an intern at SSMC Rewa(MP) and I secured air 276 in AIPGMEE 2016

What do you think is the correct approach to study for PGMEE? Only MCQ's or Theory+MCQ's?

Well it's both. Practice as many MCQ as u can but don't follow theory of guide books blindly. For a controversial question always check from a standard book.

From the second year, try to complete subject wise guides (MCQ only) in that period itself.

No this was my first attempt only

How big is the role of practice and revision while preparing for PGMEE and how much time should be dedicated for it?

Revision is the key to success. one should try to complete syllabus by September so that he/she will have 2 months for revision.

Did PrepLadder play a part in your success? If yes, how?

Yes ,it did, there was quite a number new questions in those tests and one can know all India rank among 15k students which is quite good.

Did you use a time table/study plan to keep your preparation on track?

No I didn't had any time table..I just took one subject at a time and tried to finish in a limited period of time

Were you a topper or a mediocre student during MBBS?

Yes I am a topper of my college ..I secured first rank in overall MBBS

List the most difficult and easiest subjects for you.

Anatomy, Biochemistry, Skin, Psychiatry and Microbiology were toughest to me..

Else all I found easy

One mistake that you believe everyone must avoid while preparing for PGMEE.

Just don't give up midway of your preparation.. Be regular in studying
