Tamil Nadu NEET PG counselling 2023 will be administered by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) in Chennai. The counselling will take place online at the official website tnmedicalselection.net, and interested candidates can access the official information brochure.
The brochure will contain all the important details, such as counselling dates and information on the seat allocation process.
To be eligible for Tamil Nadu NEET PG counselling 2023, students must have taken and qualified for the NEET PG 2023 exam and be domiciled in Tamil Nadu. Those who want to pursue PG Degree/Diploma courses in Tamil Nadu Government Medical Colleges and Government seats in Self-Financing Medical Colleges must submit their application form before the deadline.
The online application form for Tamil Nadu PG medical admission 2023 will be available on the online counselling portal. The form must be filled out correctly, as DME has stated that any incomplete or incorrect application forms will be rejected. Once applicants have registered online and fulfilled the other eligibility criteria, DME will release a merit list based on the marks scored in NEET PG 2023 exam. Candidates can check the allotment list online at the admission portal.
Tamil Nadu NEET PG counselling 2023 will consist of four rounds, with a stray vacancy round being held if any seats remain vacant after the completion of the mop-up round. This process will help candidates with several opportunities to secure a seat in their preferred course.

To be eligible for Tamil Nadu PG Medical Counselling 2023, candidates must meet specific criteria. Candidates must be citizens of India and possess an MBBS degree awarded by the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University.
If candidates have completed their MBBS degree from another university, they need to produce an Eligibility Certificate issued by the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University during the counselling process.
Furthermore, candidates must have completed the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) on or before March 31, 2023. They must have also qualified for NEET PG 2023 and achieved a score equal to or higher than the qualifying cutoff for the exam.

Candidates must keep in handy the below-listed documents when taking part in the Tamil Nadu NEET PG Counselling process:
Candidates who want to participate in PG medical counselling for Tamil Nadu state for the 2023 session should first register themselves on the official website.
Upon completing the registration process, candidates will be redirected to the application form for Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2023 counselling.
Candidates are advised to carefully fill in all the details of the application form, as it cannot be edited once it has been submitted.
Candidates must print a copy of the application form on A4-size paper and sign in the designated space provided on the form.
All necessary enclosures should be attached and put in an A4 size cloth-lined cover. A copy of the filled application form, along with the enclosures, must be sent to the following address:

Upon receipt of the filled form, the Selection Committee will assign an Application Registration Number (ARN) to the candidate.
A state merit list will be created by the Selection Committee for the candidates who have registered for Tamil Nadu NEET PG counselling 2023. The ranking of candidates will be based on their NEET PG 2023 marks. Candidates can download their provisional allotment orders or call letters online.
To submit choices, all candidates must pay a processing fee of Rs 1,000. Eligible candidates must fill in their preference (course/college) online through the choice filling. They must log in to their registered accounts and submit the choices before the deadline.
Before locking the choices, two confirmation pop-ups will appear. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number of the candidate. After locking the choices, candidates must take a printout of the submitted choices.
If candidates fail to lock the options before the last date, the system will automatically lock their options.
In the PG medical counselling conducted by the Selection Committee of Tamil Nadu, the seat allotment list is prepared based on the choices filled by candidates and their ranks in the State Merit List. The list is released by the committee, and selected candidates must report to the allotted institute as per the schedule with all the required documents.
In the current situation, candidates can also opt for e-reporting. If a candidate is unable to report to the institute in person, they can send a confirmation email along with scanned copies of their documents to the respective institute. Admissions confirmed through email will be provisional and subject to successful verification of their documents.
Note: If a candidate is unable to attend the Tamil Nadu NEET PG Counselling 2023 process, then he/she can send a representative on his/her behalf. The representative must carry all the original documents of the candidate and an undertaking/authority letter from the candidate. The representative must also carry his/her photo identity proof (Voter ID/Driving License/PAN card/Passport/Aadhar card). The allotment letter, however, will be handed over to the candidate only.
