• Removing potential risks for trips near busy walking areas.

Complications Of Abrasions 

The most common aftereffect of an abrasion is an infection. Symptoms of an infection include:

• Pain
• Swelling
• Yellow or hazy pus or foul-smelling fluid oozing from the wound.
• The wound that won't heal.
• High temperature

Since abrasions are the result of anything rubbing against your skin, debris, dirt, and other pollutants may get into your wound. If these contaminants are not completely cleaned, humans may become infected with bacteria from them.
